- OKX Bahamas FinTech Company Limited, a company registered in The Bahamas ("OKX Bahamas"), for Mexican residents who registered between November 16, 2022, and August 28, 2023, and institutional users who registered after August 29, 2023;
- OKX Hong Kong FinTech Company Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong ("OKX Hong Kong"), for Hong Kong residents who registered on or after May 15, 2023;
- OKX Middle East Fintech FZE, a UAE-based entity ("OKX Dubai"), for users residing in the UAE;
- OKX Serviços Digitais Ltda., a company registered in Brazil ("OKX Brazil"), for Brazilian residents who registered on or after June 15, 2023, and migrated users prior to that date;
- OKX SG Pte. Ltd., a company registered in Singapore ("OKX Singapore"), for Singapore residents who registered on or after October 13, 2023;
- StellarX Technology Company Limited, a Seychelles-based IBC ("OKX Argentina"), for users residing in Argentina eligible to access and use OKX services (effective May 1, 2024).
The term "OKX" refers collectively to OKX Bahamas, OKX Hong Kong, OKX Brazil, OKX Singapore, OKX Argentina, or Aux Cayes, depending on your applicable jurisdiction. The term "Group" refers to all aforementioned entities collectively.
1. Preliminary Provisions
1.1 Access to Services
By clicking the "Create Account" button or accessing the OKX Platform, we may grant you access to our trading platform via software, APIs, technology, products, and features.
1.2 Binding Agreement

You further represent that you are not on any sanctions list (e.g., OFAC, UN, EU) related to terrorism, WMD proliferation, or financial crime.
2.2 Jurisdictional Limitations

2.3 Voluntary Use
You affirm that your use of the OKX Platform is voluntary and not directed by third parties.
3. Prohibited Businesses
You must not use our services for any of the following activities ("Prohibited Businesses"):
- Unlicensed money transmission or payment services
- Shell banks or illicit financial institutions
- Adult content or sexual services
- Fraudulent marketing or misleading advertising
- Religious or spiritual organizations
- Unauthorized sale of weapons, ammunition, or explosives
- Controlled substances (e.g., cannabis, tobacco, e-cigarettes)
- Sale of counterfeit medicines
- Drug-related paraphernalia (e.g., vaporizers)
- Gambling activities including sports betting or online casinos
- Money laundering, fraud, terrorist financing

4. Description of Services
4.1 Trading Platform
We provide an online platform where eligible users can hold and trade digital assets (e.g., cryptocurrencies) and derivatives linked to such assets.
4.2 Supported Services Include:
- Order Matching: Automated execution based on predefined criteria.
- Margin Trading: Subject to availability and risk parameters; involves high risk of losses exceeding deposited funds.
Additional Services:
- C2C: Peer-to-peer exchange of fiat and digital assets.
- Margin Lending: P2P lending of digital assets with rewards.
- Digital Wallets: Secure storage managed by us for traded assets.
4.3 Service Variability

4.4 Market Matching & Affiliate Trading
We facilitate user-to-user matching. In limited cases, affiliated entities may trade as principal on the platform. Such trades are indistinguishable from others and may match with yours.
4.5 Asset Pooling
Your digital assets may be pooled with others'. They are not covered by deposit insurance schemes.
4.6 Beneficial Ownership
You represent that you are the true beneficial owner of all assets in your account and do not act as nominee or trustee.
4.7 Order Execution Requirements
Orders require sufficient available balance for settlement, margin (if applicable), and fees.
4.8 Information Accuracy Disclaimer
While we strive for accuracy, information on the OKX Platform is provided "as is" and without warranties.
4.9 User Equipment Responsibility
You are responsible for internet devices and associated costs (e.g., data plans).
4.10 Communication Consent
You authorize us to send account-related communications via email, SMS, push notifications, etc.
4.11 Service Availability
Services are provided "as available." We cannot guarantee uninterrupted access due to technical or external factors.
4.12 No Liability for System Downtime
We are not liable for losses due to:
- Scheduled/unplanned maintenance
- Network/equipment issues
- Force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters)
- Cyberattacks or third-party disruptions
4.13 Abnormal Transaction Handling
We reserve the right to cancel, reverse, or correct transactions involving:

FAQ: What happens if my transaction gets reversed?
We may reverse transactions due to system anomalies or suspected financial crime. While rare, such actions protect platform integrity. You will be notified where possible.
Can I trade against OKX itself?
For OKX Singapore users, each transaction is executed directly with OKX Singapore as counterparty. For others, trades occur peer-to-peer unless matched with an affiliate’s order.
Are my funds insured?
No. Digital assets held on OKX are not protected by government deposit insurance programs.
5. Trading on the OKX Platform
5.1 Order Submission
Users place buy/sell orders ("Orders") through the platform.
5.2 Accuracy Responsibility
You are solely responsible for verifying trade details before submission.
5.3 Platform Availability
The OKX Platform operates 24/7 except during maintenance or unforeseen outages.
5.4 Compliance Enforcement
We may restrict access or reject orders if we suspect legal violations.
5.5 Sufficient Balance Requirement
Orders require adequate funds covering both asset cost and fees.
5.6 Fund Locking Mechanism
Assets involved in pending orders are locked until execution or cancellation.
5.7 Order Cancellation
You may cancel unexecuted orders before blockchain confirmation.
5.8 Transaction Confirmation
We send confirmations via email or app notification upon order placement, cancellation, or partial/full execution.
5.9 Key Trading Principles
- Prices reflect market agreement between counterparties.
- Execution follows price-time priority.
- API-submitted orders have equal priority.
- Settlement occurs instantly via ledger updates.
- API access enables real-time data streaming and automated trading.
6. Risk Disclosure
Digital asset trading involves significant risks:
- No Government Backing: Assets lack intrinsic value or legal tender status.
- High Volatility: Prices can fluctuate dramatically within short periods.
- Speculative Nature: Past performance does not predict future results.
- Liquidity Risks: Illiquid markets may prevent timely exits.
- Fork Risks: Hard forks may create new assets or alter existing ones unpredictably.
- Security Threats: Exposure to hacking, phishing, malware.
- Irreversible Transactions: Transfers cannot be undone.
- Regulatory Uncertainty: Changing laws may affect usability or value.

7. Your OKX Account
Account Registration & Security
You must provide accurate identity information during registration and keep it updated. You are responsible for securing login credentials (passwords, API keys). Loss of credentials may result in irreversible account access issues.
We may freeze accounts suspected of unauthorized access or policy violations.
In case of death or prolonged inactivity (over 12 months), we may report assets as unclaimed property and liquidate them per local laws.
Final Provisions
These Terms are governed by English law. Disputes will be resolved through arbitration under HKIAC rules in Hong Kong.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
